Volunteer Expressions of Interest
Corporate Guest Tables
While volunteers are welcome to attend the 70th Anniversary Dinner by purchasing a ticket, we are also inviting Expressions of Interest from volunteers who would like to attend the event as guests seated at our corporate sponsor tables.
A number of places will be made available for volunteers to join sponsor tables, creating an opportunity for our partners to hear first-hand about the impact of Meals on Wheels through the voices of the people who make it possible every day. We are seeking volunteers who are comfortable sharing their experience, what volunteering means to you, the connections you’ve formed, and the difference you see in your community.
By bringing volunteers and supporters together at the same table, we hope to create meaningful conversations that celebrate the spirit of Meals on Wheels and help our partners better understand the real impact of their support.

From the first meal delivered in Ipswich by Rhoda Cameron to today’s statewide network, Meals on Wheels has always been powered by people who care.
The evening will feature a special “This Is Your Life: Meals on Wheels in Queensland” storytelling segment, sharing memories, milestones, and moments that have defined our journey.
We will also acknowledge the pioneers and champions whose legacy lives on in every meal delivered today.

This milestone gathering will bring together volunteers, members, partners, government, and supporters… the people who have shaped Meals on Wheels across Queensland for 70 remarkable years.
