Volunteer Onboarding

Volunteer Onboarding
When onboarding new volunteers, you need to collect some information about them to meet your obligations as an aged care service provider. The fastest way to do this is to utilise our online Volunteer Onboarding tool – Rosterfy. New Volunteers can start onboarding themselves via the Rosterfy registration portal and undertake generic mandatory training.
Below are some template forms that you can use for this purpose and adjust to suit your service.
Volunteer Information Form
This is a basic form that can used to collect volunteer information, including driver’s licence details. This information must be collected for all volunteers. Click here to download the form.
Volunteer Agreement
This form outlines what is expected of a volunteer when engaged in volunteering with Meals on Wheels. Click here to download the agreement.
Volunter Confidentiality Agreement
The Confidentiality Agreement is to be signed by volunteers to ensure they do not share any confidential or private information outside of Meals on Wheels. As a volunteer, they will have access to sensitive information about clients which should only be used where necessary for their duties performed for Meals on Wheels. Click here to download the form.
Volunteer Induction Checklist
The purpose of this checklist is for volunteers to have a reference guide of information they need to know before they begin volunteering. This checklist should be completed by the volunteer to ensure they are equipped with all the information necessary to begin volunteering. Click here to download the checklist.
This will get you started for volunteer onboarding. Don’t forget to make sure your volunteers are trained adequately and are not on the Aged Care Register of Banning Orders.
