Recipe Booklet from Townsville's Community Care Expo

HACC Expo - Townsville
On Thursday 12th June 2008, QMOW in partnership with 13 other statwide peak organisations hosted an Expo in Townsville to showcase the work of their organisations to potential clients and services in the Northern Queensland area. Matt Golinski and Dominique Rizzo from TV's "Ready Steady Cook" agreed to be involved on behalf of Queensland Meals on Wheels, and a stand was set up for them in the Castle Town Shopping Complex where they prepared 10 easy-to-cook meals for 1 or 2 people. These recipes are included in the June QMOW Newsletter mailout to services.
Peter Arnold from Angelo Po very ably assisted as the MC for the day. The cooking demonstrations were very popular and shoppers were delighted that they had TV celebrities in their midst.
