Making a Bequest
A bequest is a gift or legacy left in a Will. You may wish to ensure that the Queensland meals on Wheels Services Association can continue to provide caring support for others in the future by making the decision to include a bequest in your Will. You may do this by a gift or money from your estate.
If you do choose to provide a bequest your generous donation will go towards assisting the Queensland Meals on Wheels Services Association to continue supporting Meals on Wheels Member Services in their provision of Meals to those in need.
Alternatively, you may wish to donate specifically to the local Meals on Wheels Service in your area. Please contact your Local Service directly for advice.
If you are considering a bequest to the Queensland Meals on Wheels Services Association Inc., please consult with your Solicitor to arrange a suitable clause to be included in your Will.
The Association has developed a standard bequest form, which may be useful when planning and arrange your bequest. It can be downloaded in Word and PDF formats.
The Queensland Meals on Wheels Services Association and our Members are proud to serve our local community and we thank you for your generous support.
Please note:
- Donations and Bequests can be given to
- the State Association for the wider work of Meals on Wheels OR
- to the Local Service operating in a specific area.
- Donations of $2.00 and over are tax deductible.
- The Form of Bequest is a Policy document of Queensland Meals on Wheels Services Association Inc.
